The bad guys created a free gift program (iPhone 15) on Facebook targeting teenagers and minors. They instructed them to declare their personal information and transfer a few hundred thousand VND to them for the gift fee. If they did not transfer, they threatened to report the victim to the police for ruining the program. While the victim was confused, they sent messages suggesting loans in exchange for collateral of sensitive images and clips of the victim.

By accepting to borrow money in this way, the victim will be terrorized by the scammer using those sensitive images and clips, demanding exorbitant interest rates. In many cases, the family and relatives have to pay the scammer a lot of money.
