Bad guys impersonate banks and post recruitment ads on Facebook. When contacted, they call back and introduce themselves as people from the recruitment department, announcing online interview schedules. Then, they email the victims, instructing them to download software to experience the bank's new project and then lure them into investing here. A woman in Long Bien district (Hanoi) deposited nearly 2 billion VND and could not get her money back.

According to Bkav experts, once they follow the requests of bad guys, download software and documents to read, victims are easily lured into paying money, because this information is often drawn up by them in a very attractive way, playing on the psychology of wanting to make money. In addition, the applications and software they lure to download may come with viruses, capable of stealing information, bank accounts, social network accounts and then sending this information to them.

When sending recruitment applications to companies and businesses, people need to clearly check the recruitment information on the company's official website or hotline number, and be wary of online investment projects that are introduced as having high interest rates and quick withdrawals.
