It is worth mentioning that the image created on the video has an amazing level of perfection. In the livestream, from Elon Musk's portrait photo, the user creates an image as if the real billionaire is in the live session, vivid and realistic.

Although Deep-Live-Cam is said to be intended to support communication, help artists animate characters, or use characters as models for costumes... according to experts, the application also creates many serious cybersecurity risks.

In Vietnam, on the evening of August 20, SSI Securities Company issued a warning about bad guys using AI technology to impersonate Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Chairman of SSI, to conduct investment consulting livestreams. A number of other securities companies and businesses have also continuously reported being impersonated and advised investors to be careful when trading on the internet.

From now on, if you are invited to join a livestream with special characters, be careful because it could be a face created from Deepfake technology.

To minimize the risk of being attacked and scammed by Deepfake technology, Bkav recommends that users be especially vigilant and not invest money through celebrity livestreams because the possibility of fake characters is very high. In addition, do not provide personal information such as citizen identification, bank account, OTP code... without verifying the transaction subject.
